Frederick Thomas Jane scrapbooks, 1905-1948.

The collection consists of scrapbooks of Frederick Thomas Jane from 1905-1948. The scrapbooks contain clippings of newspaper articles written by Jane wrote as well as general clippings regarding British naval affairs from 1905-1916. The collection also includes scrapbooks of articles by Francis E. McMurtrie from 1927-1948, who was also a naval correspondent and who became editor of JANE'S FIGHTING SHIPS in 1923.
